5800 v40 firmware pros and cons

Hi guys,

Yeah... the v40 firmware version is available through PC only and it just rocks...!!!

Here are the new significant features :

Pros :

• the first and foremost is Kinetic scrolling. (not in the application menu.. :(... )
• new home screen themes
• Updated real player (you can change aspect ratio of the video!!! )
• new software update application , embedded ovi contacts and some new options in setting

Cons :

• My phone restarted it self for about 10 - 15 time in 2 days...
• New music player on the home screen theme is only available in contact theme... :(
• real player is still not supporting the play back of flv files... (at least in India...)
• MAP navigation is not free in my phone.... and asking for the license purchase ...... why nokia is making fool people???!!!

Kinetic scrolling is working great on my phone....

As far as the hacking is concerned....
you can hack V31 first and then upgrade to v40....
as long as you are not doing the hard reset.... your v40 is still hacked...!!!!

So guys dont afraid.... go ahead , update to v40... and enjoy kinetic scrolling...!!!
